I got the flu shot, and now I’m feeling pretty sick. So, instead of the post I was planning…

I’m going to go do nice, wholesome things like sleep and eat soup now.

I hate to be the naysayer here (well, maybe I don’t hate it *that* much), but the flu shot can’t get you sick; it’s dead flu virus. Myth #3:

No, the flu shot doesn’t give you the *flu*. That is what your link says as well. But it can rarely cause side effects, which is what I am experiencing. Unfortunately side effects can still make you pretty sick, especially if you have a sensitive body.
There is also some confusion as to whether there’s a new different of flu shot this year that does contain some live virus (the quadrivalent vaccine), but this may or may not be true and in any case is a moot point since I don’t know if that’s the one I received. But side effects do seem to be a thing that can happen.
